One exam form window covers all three levels this cycle — Foundation and Intermediate for September 2026, Final for November 2026. Whichever level you're sitting, the deadlines are the same.

These are ICAI's published fees for candidates appearing at centres within India. Overseas and Kathmandu (Nepal) candidates pay different rates — check ICAI's fee chart directly if that applies to you. A late fee of ₹600 (India/Nepal) or US $10 (Bahrain/Dubai) applies to any form submitted between 20 and 22 July.

Foundation and Intermediate sit in September 2026; Final sits in November 2026. All papers run 2 PM–5 PM IST except Foundation Papers 3 & 4 (2 PM–4 PM, 2 hours) and Final Paper 6 (2 PM–6 PM, 4 hours). A 15-minute advance reading period runs 1:45–2:00 PM for every paper except Foundation Papers 3 & 4.

Every candidate applies online through ICAI's Self Service Portal (SSP) at eservices.icai.org, logging in with your existing SRN and password. Exam fees are payable online only, via credit/debit card, net banking, or BHIM UPI — ICAI does not accept offline or DD payments for this form. If you've never registered on SSP, or have forgotten your password, use the portal's own registration and "forgot password" flows rather than creating a duplicate account.
Foundation, Intermediate, and Final candidates can all choose to answer papers in English or Hindi — this option is selected as part of the same form. Once submitted, changes to your exam centre or medium are only possible during the 23–25 July correction window ICAI has published; there's no indication of a further correction opportunity after that in the official notification.
22 July 2026 is the final cutoff ICAI has published for this cycle — the official announcement lists no window beyond the late-fee deadline. If you miss it, the safest assumption is that you'd need to wait for the next exam cycle rather than count on a further extension; ICAI has not indicated one in this notification, though it can and occasionally does issue fresh circulars, so check icai.org's examinations page directly rather than relying on this post if you're right at the edge of the deadline.
